Guide to BioX Leg-Band 2.0
Using the new Wearable Technology, BioX Leg-Band you are able to collect motion data on your leg.
Operation
Turn on
- Wear the Leg-Band on the leg.
2. Press the ‘ON’ button, to turn on or restart the Leg-Band.
3. Green and red LED will blink twice with two seconds gap. Afterwards the LED will be constantly red.
Data Transmission
Green LED will blink with a 2-second gap during data transmission.
Turn Off
When the Leg-Band is taken off shut down is initiated automatically after 20 seconds.
Shut down can also be initiated by pressing the ‘OFF’ button.
During shut down the red LED will blink five times with a one-second gap.
Robust design
Leg-Band is capable of functioning reliably in industrial environments. By using FMG technology and IMU sensors, the BioX Leg-Band achieves an accuracy of over 90%.
Ultra-Low Power Consumption
The band achieves ultra-low power consumption with state-of-the-art features, such as various power modes and dynamic power scaling.
Comfortable use
The band is constructed using a soft material, which is comfortable to wear, also for a long time.
Hardware
The band consists of an array of eight FSR sensors that measures muscle contraction intensity.
The system also includes a highly sensitive 9-degrees-of-freedom IMU to measure angular velocity, linear acceleration, and magnetic fields.
Derivatives such as gravity vector, euler angles, and orientation of limbs can be calculated and used for movement prediction and analysis.
Onboard low-noise amplifier and Bluetooth chip ensure reliable calibration and fast streaming of data.
